Touch Up Tuesday
Here is my Touch Up Tuesday image. First, the SOOC image:
I loved the family in this picture but I wasn't in love with the background so I had some fun with some textures. One of the textures is from Betty JoMartin and is called Dirty Linen, there is also another generic canvas texture as well as a funky wall that I photographed and the side of one of those inflatable water slides. The texture layers all have different opacities and masks, I think most of them are set to Soft Light for the blending mode but they probably vary. I also duplicated the background layer, made it black and white and blurred it for a softer look. I cropped the top part of the image out and reset it onto another layer of texture with a drop shadow so that it would be formatted for an 8x10 sized print. That's a general overview. Let me know what you think. Oh, for the story on this image just click on "Older Posts" at the bottom of this one!
