Touch Up Tuesday

Touch Up Tuesday's at the Paper Mama

A have a good friend who's daughter recently got married.  They hired a professional photographer and thought they were covered.  Unfortunately, the photographer didn't take into account how the mirrors in the room would reflect the lights that he brought to light the scene.  So, what would have been stunning images of this GORGEOUS bride came out with splotchy shadows in all the wrong places.  Needless to say, they were saddened by the results.  They asked me if I could do anything to fix them.  So, here is my first attempt.

Here is the photographer's SOOC image:

Here is my edit:

I edited it in PS 4 using the Dodge and Burn tools and did LOTS of work with the healing brush.  I also added a slight texture in the background to soften it a bit.

I am looking forward to fixing more of their images.  Seriously, have you ever seen a more beautiful bride?

I have few photos like that, the capture is lovely but then the shadows ruin it, so I think I have to learn how to edit them to get rid of the shadows
