I had so much fun photographing this lovely, young lady! Not only is she super photogenic, but she is full of spunk! We started the first half of our session in Downtown Phoenix, by the Arizona Center and worked our way over to Heritage Square. We were having so much fun that we completely lost track of time. We were accompanied by her mother, her sister and my fabulous assistant for the day, Stephanie, of Stephanie Rox Photography (who let me borrow her 70-200 L
series lens -which has been on my most wanted list ever since).
I love the way her eyes sparkle here. Due in part to her bright personality, but most of the thanks go to Stephanie's mad reflector skills.
I couldn't decide which processing style I preferred on this image, so I had to show both.
I can never resist a background with glass blocks.
After leaving Heritage Square, we found this great brick wall and HAD to pull over. It was pitch black by this wall, so in order to focus, K'Lynn's mom had to shine the car's headlights on her for me. It made for some very fun lighting!
Like I said, she's a dancer! We finished our marathon session over at Tempe Town Lake. I am a huge fan of the night time lighting on the bridge by the Tempe Center for the Arts.
The texture of this rusty, bridge support looked so great as the background for her tattoo, I just couldn't resist including this detail.
Gotta love the night lights at Tempe Town Lake! Gotta love this girl too, the camera surely does!
